Oh, How Times Have Changed

Whereas I used to get excited for sales on clothes for work and play, today I was super pleased to find an awesome sale on nursing tops and bras. Wow. Really?  Lauren was not as excited as I am, but I was sure to share my finds with fellow preggos online. They appreciate my thrifty breastfeeding finds.

In other news, got platelet results today — we are up to 80k, which is a 14k increase from 2 weeks ago. If this keeps up and Baby Bunny holds out to 40 weeks, we will almost reach the magical, glimmering goal number of 100k.

No new baby pains or fun. Today I just felt crampy and crabby and cranky — but I think that’s a part of being 38 weeks pregnant during a heat wave and potential hurricane. I am sure realizing that my maternity khakis are getting a little too tight for comfort did not help my mood either. Or the fact that as much as I brushed off the “increased appetite” warning with the prednisone, I have eaten like a horse today. Oh well. Two more weeks of gorging bliss, I suppose 🙂
